St Georges Day Rally - Tattershall

The Tattershall Rally took on a delightful St George’s theme, hosted by Rally Stewards Dave, Champa, Martin and Julie.

Vans arrived from midday in beautiful sunshine, with members welcomed by tea or coffee in the hall. In the afternoon, some enjoyed a walk into the village, sampling fish and chips or visiting a charming newly opened café, with several uniquely themed rooms.

The evening began with a warm welcome from Chairman Sandra, followed by bingo and a St George-themed quiz, won by Val and Dave.

Saturday was free for members to explore the area. Many visited the castle, nearby farm theme park, or walked the scenic footpaths along the river and lakes, with some heading towards RAF Coningsby. Later, the stewards treated everyone to a delicious afternoon tea featuring homemade cakes and scones.

Evening entertainment was a highlight, with Paul Jackson delivering an excellent performance that kept the dance floor busy all night, finishing with an enthusiastic half-hour encore.

Sunday’s coffee morning brought the rally to a close. Chairman Sandra thanked the stewards and all who supported the weekend, including visitors from Anglia, Nene Valley, NWM & NW, and 21 vans from the East Midlands. The rally ended with the traditional raffle draw, conducted by Dave and Champa.
