Rally Information

Our rallies are organised at least one year in advance and are naturally subject to change owing to circumstances beyond our control.

Extreme weather conditions are one example of a situation occurring whereby the site conditions would be deemed unsuitable for the rally to go ahead.

These circumstances are not common but should you feel the need. for whatever reason, to check that the next rally is on,

you can do so by checking the latest notifications on this web site, the ‘East Midlands Motor Caravanners Club’ page on Facebook or contact one

of the committee members whose telephone numbers are given on the inside front cover of your Rally Book.

Arrival Times

At the top of all the rally entries in this booklet you will find the ‘Start Time’. It is important that you do not turn up to the rally before that time. The start time given is taken for our insurance cover. It also forms part of our agreement with the land or site owner. Contravention of this will jeopardise the Member and the Group.

The Stewards of the rally are necessarily excluded from this rule because of the need for them to set up signage and check the site before the arrival of ralliers.

Your Change of Address or Telephone Number

If you change your telephone number or address please do not forget to let the Club Office and the Group Secretary know !

Certificate of Exemption

Where our rallies are organised on un-certificated sites the MCC are authorised to issue a Certificate of Exemption granted by Natural England.

Never Rallied ?

All Rallies except certain special Rallys i.e, Christmas Market, Christmas Party and New Year are non-bookable. Just turn up.

That first step may be daunting to you but why not call any Committee Member and ask about our rallies? We will be happy to provide you with any information you need or discuss any concern that you may have. We are keen to hear from you !

Our rallies are held at locations which are motorhome friendly and offer you the chance to enjoy your motorhome, explore, meet new like minded friends, all at a cost considerably less than traditional club or commercial sites. Activities such as coffee mornings are usually arranged for Members and you are most welcome to join in but you do not have to.

All rallies are at venues suitable for the time of year. For example, in the colder and darker months of the year we have use of a building for social activities.

All Rallies provide you with a minimum of a fresh water point and chemical disposal point. Some provide full facilities such as electric hook-ups, showers , toilets, etc. See the individual listings in this booklet for this information.
