Rally Report

Wainfleet Rally

26 vans attended the rally with visitors from Yorkshire and Anglia on a sunny afternoon. The rally was opened by the chairman who welcomed the visitors and hoped the weather kept fine for the weekend (unfortunately it didn’t with occasional downpours).

Bingo was played and then Paul had prepared a quiz and raffle tickets were on sale. Saturday was a free day to venture into Skegness or visit the local pubs in Wainfleet. Robin organised a game of boules for members. In the evening there was a quiz and then music was provided by Kelly which got a few dancing.

Sunday there was a coffee Morning and chat and due to rain being forecast the American Supper was bought forward. It was a super spread and everyone joined in. the American Supper raised £48 for the East Midlands Charity. In the evening after the downpour lawn darts was played and the winner “Nanna” Pauline was presented with a magnificent trophy (all off 2inches high) by the chairman.

Monday members had a coffee get together then a free day . In the evening Barbara did a music quiz . The chairman thanked everyone for coming to the rally and hoped they had had a lovely time. He also thanked Barbara, Robin, Anne and Paul for delivering a fantastic rally.
