Dunham on Trent 5-7 April 2019
Stuart & Margo and Linda & Gordon welcomed 18 vans to this rally, 16 East Midlands, 1 NW Mids & NW and 1 Anglia.The weather was good all weekend.
Stuart finally got round to celebrating his retirement - congratulations Stuart, and thank you for the 'fizz!' In fact, it was a weekend of celebrations … for the stewards … as the Grand National Sweepstake was won by Linda and Stuart's horse romped in second! In the Boules competition, Bob Harris won the Men's competition and Pam Woolley won the Ladies, though Roy and Kath were close contenders and gave them a good run for their money! There was lots of chat and laughter and quite a few quizzes - the weekend flew by as it does when you're enjoying yourselves. All too soon it was time for home!
