Rallies listed in this Website

Rallies listed in this Website are planned to take place as described but weather or other conditions outside of our control may cause alteration or cancellation. We will endeavour to make any changes known by announcements on the Notice Board and the Group & Club websites. In the case of a late cancellation, i.e. between two weeks and the first day of the rally, notification of this will be done via the Rally Checkline (07855 388289).

 

Bookable rallies

Bookable rallies in 2013 - Except two, all other rallies are non-bookable, just turn up. The pitches will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

 

Group Policy regarding Bookable Rallies

Group Policy regarding Bookable Rallies – Any payment made with an advance booking will be refunded in full to the Member should the rally be cancelled by the Club (for example because of severe weather). In the case where a Member fails to turn up to a booked rally, no refund will be made. In all other cases a reasonable decision will be made by the Committee based upon individual circumstances resulting in a Member having to cancel their booking at a late stage.

 

Rally venue postcodes

Rally venue postcodes are as accurate as can be ascertained. Remember that every single postcode covers a specific street/road and is not therefore pinpoint accurate.

 

The use of Satnavs

The use of Satnavs to reach our venues is usually most helpful but please remember their limitations when navigating you to a postcode address. If you are not using a satnav designed for your vehicle size, care should be taken and visual observation made of all traffic signs at the roadside.

 

Rally directions

Rally directions given against each rally listing are provided to assist you in finding the site but they cannot be guaranteed to be suitable on the day of your journey nor for your size of vehicle. Each rally site will have additional MCC signage, usually attached to lamp post/fence/road sign post.

 

Please remember that all the work that goes into organising rallies, booklets, website, etc, etc, is done on a voluntary basis by Members of the Group.
