Rempstone Steam and Country Fair 7-11 July 2022
35 vans attended this new venue. 1 first timer from East Midlands. We were parked up on a very large field by our stewards for the weekend Anne, Ron, Pete and Debbie. The weather was fantastic all weekend .
On Thursday and Friday the fair was starting to set up, so the members went for walks or sat outside their vans chatting and enjoying the beautiful weather (and a little drink).
Saturday and Sunday we had free entry into the show where we could see everything from vintage cars and motorbikes to steam engines and agricultural vehicles. There was also jousting, falconry and a pipe band and various demonstrations in the show ring. There were stalls selling all manner of goods and craft displays and a ukulele band. There was also a wide range of food outlets available plus a bar and tea room.
Everyone really enjoyed the weekend and I’m sure this venue will become a regular in our rally programme.
