Christmas Party at Waddington 16 - 18 December 2022
It was cold and frosty when members arrived at Waddington. 26 vans, one of which was a first timer, arrived ready to party and meet Santa Claus.
Friday evening, members arrived dressed in their Christmas jumpers ready for the best dressed jumper competition and were welcomed by the Chairman Brian. Bingo played and then members welcomed Angie who never fails to keep us entertained. During the evening we held a Christmas Jumper competition which was won by Pete Pilkiw for the men and the ladies’ winner was Sue Fry.
On Saturday after the coffee morning members went into Lincoln or just walked into the village. Saturday evening the committee had prepared a meal for the members whilst waiting for Santa to arrive. Santa arrived and presented each child with a present. The members all joined in a sang our annual 12 days of Christmas and then dancing the evening away to the disco.Sunday morning refreshments and warm mince pies were followed by the raffle draw. The chairman closed the Rally wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and hoping to see them at our next rally at Ingoldmells.
