Rally Report
Welbourn Rally 22 - 24 September 2023
16 vans attended this rally in the lovely little village of Welbourn. Members were welcomed by the stewards Gordon, Linda, Dave and Mandy and were blessed with good weather.
Friday Evening Bingo played then a cheese and cracker supper followed by cornflake cakes. Gordon and Linda then entertained members with quizzes which took about 10 tie to find a winner which was Sue’s team.
On Saturday some members caught the buses into Lincoln or Newark and some found the pub to have lunch. In the afternoon Dave and Mandy arranged a axe throwing competition ( not as dangerous as it sounds Plastic axes). Which was won by Steve and Kev. Very entertaining lots of laughs.
p>>[Saturday evening Kath celebrated her birthday and brought everyone birthday ?? cake. Happy birthday Kath. We then played a few games of Last Man Standing hosted by Paul won by Graham and Jane. Dave and Mandy then organised a game of Snatch. DJ Dave then played music to dance to.
Sunday at coffee morning raffle drawn by Jane then chairman thanked the stewards for a fantastic rally. Jane informed members that Teddy had returned safe and sound from a night out in Lincoln.
